Black Hawk Down Movie cover
He describes both sides of the conflict, specifically one soldier from every squad and a few Somalis who were involved in the fighting (including a ten year old boy determined to kill an army Ranger). The Rangers drop into the combat zone to abduct the two lieutenants of a Somali war lord. The Rangers realize the Somalis have set a trap for them and the mission quickly falls apart. The different squads are cut off from one another and begin setting up ways to defend themselves when a Black Hawk Helicopter is shot down by a Somali RPG. All the squads begin moving toward the crash site to look for survivors.
